networks. LSVi expanded availability and self-service features while adding new distribution and configuration alternatives, new security and integrity features for Windows NT/2000, and performance enhancements for this newest release of their desktop management tool.

Highlights of the new features in Version 5.2 of CMF include:
-- Fully automated self-healing - Self-healing software agents keep
electronically installed software up-to-date and repair corrupted
installations. Agents proactively check and repair software at the profile,
package, and file levels, ensuring availability and reducing support costs.

-- Active Directory Services support - Support for storage and use of server
mappings is the basis for this initial phase of support for Microsoft's Active
Directory Services (ADS) or other vendors' directory services based on
Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).

-- New Internet distribution alternatives - Expanded support of web protocols
and packages gives users more flexibility. CMF 5.2 supports common web server
packages (such as Internet Information Services (IIS)) and installation using
TCP/IP address, IP Host Name, DNS Name or proxy server.

-- User-initiated rollback - This feature allows users to repair their desktops
themselves without involving the central site, which frees up the support group
and ensures maximum availability of workstations.
