Siemens Hearing Instruments Siemens Hearing Instruments, headquartered in Piscataway Township, New Jersey, is the world’s largest manufacturer of hearing aids.[1] The company operates as a subsidiary of Siemens Medical Solutions a division of Siemens AG, Munich, Germany. , Inc., offers a virtually invisible "open"-ear hearing instrument specifically designed to eliminate the "plugged-up" feeling some wearers experience. ACURIS Life, a behind-the-ear instrument, uses a newly developed tip and tubing and incorporates the recently introduced ear-to-ear (e2e) wireless technology, which enables the left and right instruments to communicate with each other and function as one hearing system. This instrument automatically adjusts itself to the wearer's listening environment, but synchronized syn·chro·nize
