Wireless card modems.

Designed for notebook computers, AirCard 501 and AirCard 502 ExpressCard modems offer top download speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 5.76 Mbps. AirCard 501 supports 850/1,900/2,100 MHz HSPA frequency bands, while AirCard 502 supports 900/1,900/2,100 MHz frequency bands. With an internal antenna design with no moving parts, the modems can be safely stored in the computer. Both models are backward compatible with UMTS, EDGE and GSM networks. The modems support Windows and Mac operating systems, and installation of the drivers and software client takes place the first time the device is plugged in. A connection manager offers an intuitive dashboard that provides status, performance and network information.--Sierra Wireless
