The Wireless LAN Association (WLANA), the educational trade association for the wireless local area networking industry, announced today that Signa Services, the industry's only hardware-neutral WLAN professional services organization, is now a Sponsor member and will hold a seat on WLANA's board of directors.

In addition, Armstrong, WiFinder and WiPro have joined the association as affiliate members. Armstrong produces wireless systems that embed antennas for wireless communications inside ceiling panels. WiFinder, Inc. sells information and services that let corporate customers and mobile workers exploit the new remote access opportunities created by the rapid deployment of 802.11b (or Wi-Fi) public Internet access. Wipro provides design services for Wireless Networking solutions offered around their IP Cores for the 802.11 MAC, 802.11a Baseband and 802.11b Baseband.
