Wipro Pioneers Composite Application Solutions on SAP NetWeaver(R) with Wipro - Composite Application Factory.

BANGALORE, India -- Wipro Technologies the global IT services division of Wipro Limited (NYSE:WIT) today announced the launch of the Wipro - composite application factory (W-CAF), as a new service line to customers to facilitate the phasing out of legacy, third party and best-of-breed applications in a cost-effective way, from any system landscape. To be built on the SAP NetWeaver(R) platform using the Composite Application Framework, Wipro is among the first few global System Integration Companies to launch a composite application factory model.

The 'Wipro Composite Factory Model (W-CAF) will provide customers with the option of building and implementing composite applications on the SAP NetWeaver platform leveraging the Composite Application Framework. W-CAF will help the Corporate IT of any organization to serve its business users better by providing solutions customized to its business needs at a significantly lower cost of ownership by adopting an Enterprise services-oriented architecture (Enterprise SOA).

Having recently completed 'iPRO - the e-procurement Composite Application" and certified by SAP AG through the W-CAF model, the Wipro composite application factory will expand the options available for SAP customers world-wide looking to adopt an enterprise service oriented architecture.
