As of November 30, 2000, the SoBe Sports System will be the official performance beverage of USA Track and Field, the governing body for track national championship and Olympic team selection events.

The four year deal between USATF and South Beach Beverages, will put SoBe Sports System in the hands of an elite group of world-class athletes and the next generation of national and world champions at USATF programs like The Golden Spike Tour and the USA v. World meet which feature America's Olympic champions; and a broad range of grassroots events for athletes 19 years old and younger.
