Winners of latest Skibbie Scholarships announced.The winners of the 2006 Lawrence E Skibbie Graduate Scholarships are:
* Ronalynn Espedido, who is pursuing a masters of science degree in information security at DePaul University in Chicago. DePaul University is a private institution of higher education and research in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
* Yevgeniya Gokun, who is seeking a masters of science degree in applied statistics at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio Dayton is a city in southwestern Ohio, United States. It is the county seat and largest city of Montgomery County. As of the 2005 census estimate, the population of Dayton was 158,873. .
* Amos C. Williams Jr., who is studying for a doctorate of management at Colorado Technical University Colorado Technical University (CTU) is a system of proprietary for-profit colleges in the United States providing career training, accredited programs, and college degrees in a variety of areas. CTU grants bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. in Colorado Springs.
* Marine Capt. Joshua D. Winfrey, who is pursuing an executive master of science degree in information systems at George Washington University George Washington University, at Washington, D.C.; coeducational; chartered 1821 as Columbian College (one of the first nonsectarian colleges), opened 1822, became a university in 1873, renamed 1904. in Washington, D.C.
NDIA's Executive Committee established the Skibbie scholarship program in honor of the association's retired president, who passed away in December, to support one or more advanced graduate students in engineering, science or management.
