The Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel is the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company's first resort and a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award is given by the United States National Institute of Standards and Technology. Through the actions of the National Productivity Advisory Committee chaired by Jack Grayson, it was established by the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality winner. Hosted by Julia Schneiderman, Director of Quality and a member of the Guidance Team for the Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel, this site visit will focus on how The Ritz Carlton designs and manages processes with the customer in mind and will show CCIT and CCQS members why the Ritz Carlton has won such awards as: "Most Romantic Resort in the World" Gourmet Magazine, "Best Hotel of the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America.
