 Award will host a "best practice" benchmarking site visit for members and invitees of the Center for Continuous Improvement Technologies (CCIT See ITU. ) and California Council for Quality and Service (CCQS CCQS Centralized Charge Quotation Service ) on April 21, 2000. Site visit attendees will have the opportunity to gain useful best practice ideas from this award-winning company.

The Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel is the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company's first resort and a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award is given by the United States National Institute of Standards and Technology. Through the actions of the National Productivity Advisory Committee chaired by Jack Grayson, it was established by the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality  winner. Hosted by Julia Schneiderman, Director of Quality and a member of the Guidance Team for the Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel, this site visit will focus on how The Ritz Carlton designs and manages processes with the customer in mind and will show CCIT and CCQS members why the Ritz Carlton has won such awards as: "Most Romantic Resort in the World" Gourmet Magazine, "Best Hotel of the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. " The Zagat Award, and "Top Hotel in North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. " Travel & Leisure.

Sponsor CCIT is a unique benchmarking membership cooperative which provides powerful, targeted, and cost-effective best practice site visits and case studies to professionals interested in continuous improvement and quality issues.
