, chairman and chief executive officer of Wingstop Holdings Inc., announced Wingstop Restaurants, Inc. opened its 100th restaurant.

The restaurant, located at 2921 Pat Booker Road in Universal City, Texas, is the fifth restaurant for franchisee, Charles Loflin. The occasion was marked with a ribbon cutting by city officials and the Randolph Metrocom Chamber of Commerce Diplomats Some famous diplomats include: Afghanistan

. George Samaras, President/CEO of Wingstop Restaurants, Inc., and Marcia L. Harris-Daniel, Director of Marketing, were also in attendance.

Wingstop Holdings, Inc., a newly formed corporation, recently purchased the Wingstop chain in January of this year.

The Wingstop chain offers restaurants with a nostalgic, aviation-themed atmosphere where the sole focus is on chicken wings Chicken Wings can refer to:
  • A type of food, a serving of the wing sections of a chicken. Deep fried wings coated in sauce are also known as Buffalo wings.
  • Chicken Wings, an aviation related comic by Michael and Stefan Strasser.
