Winfield security marks 25 years.

Twenty-five years in business is an accomplishment for any firm, particularly in a competitive environment filled with mergers and acquisitions. So, at a recent 25th anniversary party for his firm, Winfield Security, company president John Beck commended staff and clients for loyalty and a consistent commitment to quality.

"When the economy is weak, companies still need to protect their assets, so our services are required. In a strong economy like the one we have now, assets are even more valuable and companies recognize the importance of quality services. Our technology and management systems are all state of the art. With our senior management in New York and New Jersey offices, we are able to be more responsive than larger conglomerates in our field."

The firm was founded 25 years ago by Eugene Fink, who, according to Beck, was insistent that that the firm remains focussed on hiring qualified guards and maintaining all ongoing training programs to ensure quality control. "This is essentially a people business, where our guards interact with clients and their clients on a regular basis. We all need to be aware of their concerns and challenges and meet them quickly and effectively," noted Beck. He became president of the firm following the death of Fink in 1996. In January, he will be installed as the new president of the Associated Licensed Detectives Of New York State (ALDONYS).
