The exterior design scheme flows smoothly inside the property, where the colors are based on a soft yellow and the rooms are filled with distinct pieces. Poncher illustrates, "All of our furniture in the suites, from our beds and nightstands and hand-painted mirrors in the bathrooms are custom-made pieces. They were designed by a Southern Californian artisan whose work has the homey, special touches people find delightful when they stay for longer periods." Those guests are welcome to help themselves to the Homewood Suites La Quinta complimentary breakfast seven days each week. Eggs, fresh fruit, waffles, sausage sausage, food consisting of finely chopped meat mixed with seasonings and, often, other ingredients, all encased in a thin membrane.
