is Windsor Hospitality Group's division dedicated to third-party management contracts. Several of the properties in Windsor's portfolio are in the Hilton Family The Hilton family is a successful American family founded by hotel magnate Conrad Hilton (1887-1979). His descendants continue to hold varying degrees of wealth and status as socialites, and some have become famous, such as great-granddaughter Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton  of Brands, but this is their and the area's first Homewood Suites by Hilton and Windsor's first property in the Coachella Valley Coachella Valley (kō'əchĕl`ə), arid region, SE Calif., N of the Salton Sea. Water is brought into the region by artesian wells and by the Coachella Canal (123 mi/198 km long), a branch of the All-American Canal built between 1938 and .

WMS has overseen this property's development from its genesis and has made the area's unique visitor composite one of its top priorities. "We will do small groups, but about 50-percent of our business is extended-stay, meaning five nights or more," says General Manager Brad Poncher. The other 50-percent of our business will be normal transient hotel traffic. WMS has already secured agreements with a few major accounts and wants them to see all that the hotel has to offer, Poncher explains.

"At this property, we have one board room set with a beautiful table for executive meetings up to 12 people. We also have a 1,400 square-foot meeting room that we can divide into two rooms ... Any connections people would want for audio-visual equipment, we can provide or arrange to bring in for the occasion."

While the Homewood Suites La Quinta is prepared to handle its corporate and other group business' technological needs, the property is not hard on the eyes.

"The property looks like a little, three-story Riviera resort on the corner of Miles Washington, almost directly across from the famed Indian Wells Tennis Gardens The Indian Wells Tennis Garden is a tennis facility in Indian Wells, California, in the Coachella Valley. It is the home of the Pacific Life Open tournament, a joint event of the ATP Tour and the WTA Tour. ," Poncher says. "Our landscaping is beautiful ... It is very floral, however the designers created it with our unique desert environmental concerns in mind. Jose Estrada Jose Estrada may refer to:
  • Jose Estrada, Sr., a Puerto Rican professional wrestler
  • Jose Estrada, Jr., A Puerto Rican professional wrestler and son of Jose Estrada, Sr.
  • Jose Estrada (baseball player), Cuban baseball player
is our very talented landscape artist with Herman & Associates out of Riverside, Calif. WMS contracted with him to design our outdoor lighting scheme as well."

The exterior design scheme flows smoothly inside the property, where the colors are based on a soft yellow and the rooms are filled with distinct pieces. Poncher illustrates, "All of our furniture in the suites, from our beds and nightstands and hand-painted mirrors in the bathrooms are custom-made pieces. They were designed by a Southern Californian artisan whose work has the homey, special touches people find delightful when they stay for longer periods."

Those guests are welcome to help themselves to the Homewood Suites La Quinta complimentary breakfast seven days each week. Eggs, fresh fruit, waffles, sausage sausage, food consisting of finely chopped meat mixed with seasonings and, often, other ingredients, all encased in a thin membrane. Although sausages were made by the ancient Greeks and Romans, they were usually plain and unspiced; in the Middle Ages people began to , a cereal variety, pastries, juice and coffee are theirs to enjoy. Monday through Thursday, guests are welcome a complimentary supper buffet that includes a salad bar, one or two entrees and a fresh dessert.

If you are not too distracted by being hungry, Poncher insists the pool is the property's main attraction. "The pool is probably the most incredible spot in the hotel. Ours is a large, resort-sized pool with a lush rock waterfall waterfall, a sudden unsupported drop in a stream. It is formed when the stream course is interrupted as when a stream passes over a layer of harder rock—often igneous—to an area of softer and therefore more easily eroded rock; the edge of a cliff or  feature, which unusual for the area."

The Homewood Suites La Quinta is near the area polo fields, is surrounded by prestigious golf courses and very near all of the top-flight restaurants in town. As Poncher says, "La Quinta is called 'the gem of the Desert.' With this hotel's beauty, its decor and all of the best local attractions (Magnetism) an attraction near a compass, causing its needle to deviate from its proper direction, especially on shipboard.

next door, we are the gem of La Quinta." Poncher, Windsor Management Services and Windsor Hospitality Group as a whole, are proud to welcome their newest guests.
