William S. Berk, shareholder of Adorno & Zeder, P.A. was recently elected President of the Florida Advisory Committee on Arson Prevention (FACAP FACAP Florida Advisory Committee on Arson Prevention ) for 2002.

The FACAP was founded as a non-profit corporation in the State of Florida in 1975. The sole purpose of the formation of Florida Advisory Committee on Arson Prevention was to wage war against arson. The membership is made up of investigators and support personnel from the Bureau of Fire and Arson Investigations Division of Florida's State Fire Marshal's Office, Federal, County and City law enforcement officers throughout the state, fire service personnel, insurance representatives, private arson investigators, attorneys and others who are engaged, on a continuing basis, in the war against arson in Florida.
