William H. Downham.

William H. Downham, MD, MSHA, is a consultant with Will/Kieffer, a leading national executive search firm. He works in the firm's St. Louis, Mo. office. Downham has worked in hospitals, integrated delivery systems, managed care organizations, clinical practices and physician organizations. Most recently, he served as interim executive vice president for care management at Private Healthcare systems in Waltham, Mass., where he was responsible for the care management division. Previously, he was chief medical officer of Heartland Health Plan of Oklahoma in Oklahoma city, where he organized and led medical quality management departments. Downham earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma college of Medicine and an MHA from the University of Colorado.
