Willamette Rep warms up for its winter play.


Byline: The Register-Guard

Director Kirk Boyd has announced his cast for Willamette Repertory Theatre's Hult Center production of ``The Drawer Boy'' by Michael Healy Michael Augustine Healy, nicknamed "Hell Roaring", was an American captain in the United States Revenue Cutter Service (predecessor of the United States Coast Guard) who patrolled Alaskan waters in the late 19th century. USCGC Healy, commissioned in 1999, was named in his honor. , opening Jan. 26.

Achilles Massahos and Wesley Bishop will play two aging World War II veterans, and Cameron Carlisle will play the young actor who comes to their farm to gather stories about rural life.

Massahos, who played Dromio Syracuse in Willamette Rep's production of ``The Comedy of Errors,'' also played Alan Strang in a national tour of ``Equus.''
