Wildfire Communications Opens European Headquarters.

New Office to Support European Expansion of Voice-Activated,

Wildfire Communications, Inc., today announced the opening of its European headquarters in Thames Valley Business Park, Reading, England. The new office will enable the company to drive the continued adoption of Wildfire by carriers and users in Europe and worldwide.

Wildfire Communications, Inc., headquartered in Lexington, Mass., is a pioneer in the field of virtual-assistant technology. The company develops and markets Wildfire, the first speech-based electronic assistant to be offered as an enhanced service by phone companies. Wildfire is currently offered by Pacific Bell Wireless in the U.S., Bell Mobility/Bell Emergis in Canada and Orange plc in the United Kingdom and is in market trials with other operators throughout North America and Europe.

As the company's first European managing director, Hart will lead the European expansion of Wildfire. Hart brings extensive telecommunications sales and marketing experience to the company. Prior to Wildfire, Hart spent nearly ten years with Northern Telecom, most recently as vice president, sales and marketing for Nortel Fixed Wireless Access. He has also held management positions with Belgium-based PA Consulting and the UK Atomic Energy Authority.
