Wildfire Communications Names Two New Executives.

Wildfire Communications, Inc. today announced that Robert J. Klass has been named vice president of sales and Donald A. Sullivan has been named director of finance and administration.

Klass, who oversees all sales activities for the Network Wildfire product in North America, joined Wildfire Communications in November 1996, and had been serving in the roles of director of business development and acting vice president, sales. A 17-year sales and marketing veteran, Klass has worked in the wireless communications industry for over ten years in sales, sales management, sales training and marketing management roles. Most recently, Klass was director of sales for TCSI Corporation's Personal Communications Group, where he was responsible for digital signal processing software sales to semiconductor and equipment manufacturers throughout North America and Japan. Prior to this, Klass spearheaded cellular digital packet data (CDPD) technology sales throughout North America for the Wireless Data Division (WDD) of McCaw Cellular/AT&T Wireless, focusing on large, national accounts. Prior to being one of the original members of WDD, Klass was regional manager of McCaw Cellular Communications' National Account Division's Northeast Region, which spanned from Washington, D.C. to Maine. Klass holds a B.S. degree from State University of New York.

Sullivan, a certified public accountant, has extensive experience with high-tech companies in the area of finance and administration including public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and day-to-day management of finance and administrative operations. Most recently, he served as director of finance for SQA, Inc./Rational Software Corporation, where he directed their finance group and played an integral role in the sale of SQA to Rational. Prior to SQA/Rational, he held the position of director of finance at CrossComm Corporation, a publicly held internetworking company. Prior to that, he worked as an audit manager for Ernst & Young, LLP, specializing in small- to mid-sized high-tech companies. Sullivan holds a B.A., summa cum laude, in accounting from Assumption College, Worcester, Massachusetts.
