WildPackets Inc., industry-leaders in packet analysis software development, training and support, has signed on as a sponsor for the Afasic Wrekin "3 Peaks" Challenge. Afasic is a UK charity that promotes understanding, acceptance, and opportunities for children and young adults with communication impairments.

A joint Afasic-EDS team will begin the Challenge on 28 September. Their goal is to climb the 3 highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales England and Wales are both constituent countries of the United Kingdom, that together share a single legal system: English law. Legislatively, England and Wales are treated as a single unit (see State (law)) for the conflict of laws.  in just 24 hours. WildPackets has provided the funding to outfit the team with safety equipment that includes compasses, a GPS system, first aid kits, torches, and batteries.
