WildPackets Releases Omni Version 3.0; Real-Time Distributed Network Analysis Solution Adds VoIP Call Analysis, PCI-Based T1/E1, Capture Engine Option.

A result of the company's drive to respond to customer requirements for local and distributed expert network analysis, the v3.0 release features the addition of in-depth VoIP call analysis, support for PCI-based T1/E1 WAN analysis, and enhanced support for Datacom Systems and Net Optics matrix switches.

The Omni architecture is comprised of OmniPeek(TM) Consoles and Omni DNX DNX Departmental Network eXchange

DNX Domain Name Exchange
(TM) Engines that deliver complete coverage and analysis of local and remote networks. OmniPeek can analyze VoIP, Gigabit, WAN, Wireless, and Ethernet traffic from live data captured by Omni DNX Engines deployed in any local or remote location. OmniPeek Voice (TM) adds real-time VoIP diagnoses to the statistical analysis and distributed, real-time network troubleshooting provided by the Omni solution.

Omni Version 3.0 also provides support for WildPackets' PCI-based T1/E1 WAN Analyzer See network analyzer.  Card (WAC WAC (Women's Army Corps), U.S. army organization created (1942) during World War II to enlist women as auxiliaries for noncombatant duty in the U.S. army.
