WildPackets Receives INTERNET TELEPHONY(R) Magazine's 2006 Product of the Year Award.

OmniAnalysis Platform v4 Recognized for Outstanding Innovation

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- WildPackets Inc., innovators in advanced network analysis, today announced that Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC([R]))'s INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine (www.itmag.com) has named OmniAnalysis Platform v4 as a recipient of a 2006 Product of the Year Award. INTERNET TELEPHONY has been the VoIP Authority Since 1998[TM].

The OmniAnalysis Platform is a distributed network analysis platform for optimizing network services and maximizing uptime on enterprise networks. OmniAnalysis Platform v4 features new, fully integrated enhancements for Application Analysis, distributed Network Forensics Analysis and VoIP Expert Analysis.

"We continue to build on our reputation of superb expert application analysis by measuring applications from different viewpoints," said J. Scott Haugdahl, WildPackets' CTO. "Our Application Response Time (ART) analysis has been broadened to incorporate task measurements, and we were the first network analysis provider to support open industry-standard Apdex scores that tie user satisfaction to measured network performance. In OmniAnalysis v4 new data mining enhancements to our Network Forensics capabilities enable network engineers and security officers to analyze network events that occurred hours or even days ago--essential for validating transactions or troubleshooting security attacks. Additionally, we advanced our in-depth media stream analysis and problem diagnosis of VoIP."

CEO Mahboud Zabetian said: "We're pleased to receive this award for the second year in a row. 2007 is our 17th year in business, and we plan to continue introducing new products that make day-to-day network management and application management tasks easier, firmly based on customer experience."

"INTERNET TELEPHONY is proud to bestow WildPackets with a 2006 Product of the Year Award. Each year INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine recognizes companies that have demonstrated excellence in technological advancement and application refinements," said Rich Tehrani, TMC President and Editor-in-Chief of INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine. "WildPackets has proven they are committed to quality and excellence while addressing real needs in the marketplace. We're proud to honor their hard work and accomplishments and look forward to more innovative solutions from them in the future."

A full list of Product of the Year winners will be published in the February 2007 issue of INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine.
