:ANDW) announced that it is to supply WildBlue Communications Inc. (www.wildblue.com) with turnkey services for twelve Ka-band gateway systems to be deployed in WildBlue's broadband service network across the United States. Each gateway system will have two Andrew 5.6-meter Ka-band earth station antennas, gateway electronics, transmission cables, backup power subsystem, a modular equipment shelter, and a control and monitor subsystem. Andrew will supply, install, test, and provide ongoing maintenance for each gateway. The gateway earth station antennas will provide a connection to the Internet backbone for each customer-premise user terminal. The value of the contract with WildBlue is over $20 million. The first six WildBlue gateways are scheduled for completion by the end of 2001.

Also called CONUS.  and subsequently expand service into Canada and Latin America.
