Veneco, an acquirer and developer of oil and gas interests, employs 250 and last year posted revenues of $280 million.

Woodward Governor, a market leader in fuel-control systems for jet engines and other industrial electric equipment, generated sales of $855 million last year. The company employs 3,700 total and about 1,100 in Fort Collins and Loveland Loveland, city (1990 pop. 37,352), Larimer co., N Colo.; inc. 1881. Loveland lies in a fertile farm area, irrigated by the Colorado–Big Thompson project. It is a processing and shipping center for sugar beets, grains, fruits and vegetables, beans, and livestock. .
