received interest from businesses ranging in size from single store retailers to large Fortune 100 corporations.

The software, called PowerTab, allows any business to easily create and interpret their own survey. PowerTab was selected by Apple Fellow Guy Kawasaki Guy Kawasaki (born 1954), one of the original Apple employees responsible for marketing of the Macintosh in 1984, is a Silicon Valley venture capitalist. He is noted for bringing the concept of evangelism to the high-tech business, focusing on creating passionate user-advocates for  as one of 1997's best new applications for the Macintosh.

"This is very exciting," said PowerTab's author, Vik Rubenfeld. "I designed PowerTab to allow anyone to conduct their own survey. And the range of people that expressed interest was beyond my expectations." PowerTab was personally demonstrated at MacWorld for a senior manager of an American American, river, 30 mi (48 km) long, rising in N central Calif. in the Sierra Nevada and flowing SW into the Sacramento River at Sacramento. The discovery of gold at Sutter's Mill (see Sutter, John Augustus) along the river in 1848 led to the California gold rush of  automaker, another executive from a well-known electronics firm and several chief executives of various software firms. But small businesses were interested as well. Proprietors of single store retail operations were also very interested.

PowerTab has a built-in Expert System that interviews and creates a customer satisfaction survey specifically for the user. Intended for any business, PowerTab interviews the user to create a custom survey. Once the survey has been distributed to and completed by customers, the user is guided through the data entry process. Initial data tabulation tab·u·late
