Wicks Medical signs agreement to buy Jobson; acquires Designwrite, Inc.

), a unit of Wicks Group of Companies, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Jobson Publishing (Bloomfield, NJ), a producer of healthcare communications, publishing and medical education materials. No terms were given. Jobson is privately owned and owner managed in partnership with Boston Ventures (Boston, MA).

Established in 1958, Jobson produces a range of publications, accredited accredited

recognition by an appropriate authority that the performance of a particular institution has satisfied a prestated set of criteria.

Jobson president Bob Amato said "we have worked hard over the past year to position the company and its products for strong growth in the healthcare industry."

Also, Wicks Medical Information has acquired DesignWrite Inc. (Princeton, NJ), a specialty healthcare and medical information company, from Tucker Capital Corporation. Wicks was represented in the deal by Berkery, Noyes & Co. (New York). No terms of the deal were given.
