Wichita honors top companies, property and staff. (NAA Today).

The Apartment Association of Greater Wichita (Kan.) held their fourth annual Stars of Excellence Awards on Jan. 19, 2002. More than 125 members and their guests attended the event. More than 100 nominations were received in 28 categories. Pro-Image Works coordinated the judging process, with nine judges completing interviews and community visits.

Apartment Association of Kansas City Awards

Apartment Investment and Management Company (AIMCO) managers were saluted for their commitment to residents and employees during the Crystal Merit Awards ceremony sponsored by the Apartment Association of Kansas City. The ceremony, conducted in mid-February, honors the best in the industry on an annual basis.

During the ceremony, the AIMCO management team at Cedar Brooke Apartments in Independence, Mo., took top honors in their class for the best clubhouse and leasing office, AIMCO employee Cammy McQueeny was named Best Marketing Director and the entire Kansas City management team took top honors as the best apartment management team in the Greater Kansas City area.

In addition to recognition from their peers the winners received individual trophies.

Greater Nashville Apartment Association

The Greater Nashville Apartment Association (GNAA) recently held its semiannual new member orientation. This program introduces new members to the benefits of active participation. The Board of Directors and Membership Ambassadors welcomed 91 new members from the previous 12 months.
