Involvement in the branch not only provides members with connections to other members in the branch, but offers an array of events and conferences throughout the year. NAB also assists in providing specialized spe·cial·ize v. spe·cial·ized, spe·cial·iz·ing, spe·cial·iz·es v.intr. 1. To pursue a special activity, occupation, or field of study. 2. learning opportunities for an all-inclusive educational experience. The National Aquatic Conference (NAC See network access control. ) and National Aquatic Management School (NAMS NAMS North American Menopause Society NAMS National Association of Marine Surveyors NAMS National Agricultural Monitoring System (Australia) NAMS National Agenda for Motorcycle Safety NAMS Native American Management Services ) for aquatic professionals are both specifically designed with aquatic professionals in mind. NAB also supports NRPA's Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO AFO Ankle-foot orthosis ) certification course which is offered throughout the U.S. and internationally. NAB awards conference scholarship assistance to students and professionals, and promotes aquatic projects and programs throughout the year. NRPA's Excellence in Aquatics award is presented annually at NAC to recognize superior aquatic services in facilities.
