The 5,635 lawyers among L.A.'s largest firms represent a 30 percent increase from a decade ago. The number has increased every year since 1997.

O'MELVENY & MYERS LLP

WITH 383 attorneys in its local offices, O'Melveny & Myers LLP is again the largest law firm in Los Angeles County. The firm has three fewer lawyers than last year, but still widened its lead over its closest competitor, Latham & Watkins LLP. O'Melveny has 80 more attorneys than Latham.
