Cushman & Wakefield announced that Arthur L. Boechi has been named senior managing director of New York area strategic agency services.

Bocchi joined Cushman & Wakefield in June 2000. Prior to joining the company, he was senior managing director of SRD Realty, a subsidiary of Sumitomo Realty & Development. He was responsible for directing Sumitomo's real estate assets in the United States and oversaw a portfolio of more than six million SF of office properties for Sumitomo and its clients. Among his achievements were higher-than-average market occupancy in all properties; repositioning retail; project management oversight for major building renovations, and public relations programs to create market awareness of specific properties in the portfolio.

A graduate of the City University of New York, Bocchi is on the board of directors of the Fifth Avenue Business Improvement District and is a member of The Young Men's/Women's Real Estate Association of New York. He lives in Jamaica Estates with his wife, Karen, and their four children.

Edward A. Riguardi, chairman of Colliers ABR, Inc., announced the appointment of Timothy J. Clancy to vice president/director of operations and Tony P. Cartagine to assistant director of operations.

In his new post Clancy will be responsible for property management in the tri-state area. Clancy joined the company in July 2000 as director of operations and oversaw the management staff responsible for running the company's 16 million-SF property management portfolio. Prior to joining Colliers ABR, Clancy was the director of asset management at Sumitomo Realty & Development Inc. He earned a BS in nuclear science from State University of New York Maritime College and is a licensed marine engineer.

Cartagine joined Colliers ABR in 1977 as a division manager. He spearheaded the Y2K efforts for the firm's managed properties, is on the Building Owners and Managers Association's energy committee and seminar committee and is involved with major projects including telecommunications infrastructure, 2 Broadway redevelopment and chiller upgrades at 645 Madison Avenue.

Cartagine earned a bachelor of mechanical engineering from Villanova University and an MBA from Fordham University.

Daniel Lisser, a senior member of the mortgage sales group at Secured Capital Corp., has joined The Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group to start up a mortgage sales and syndications group. Over the past three years at Secured Capital, Lisser was involved in over $2 billion of performing and non-performing loan sales on behalf of banks, insurance companies, mortgage REITs and the Department of Urban Development and Housing Development.

Julie F. Nachamkin has recently rejoined Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey, Inc. as a broker specializing in both tenant and landlord representation in the Middlesex County industrial real estate market as well as corporate service account management. She is based in the firm's recently-opened Iselin office.

Nachamkin's s prior experience with Cushman & Wakefield, from 1982 to 1989, included both office and industrial real estate transactions involving leasing, acquisitions and dispositions. Today Nachamkin is part of a Cushman & Wakefield team which includes Stanley Danzig, Jules Nissim and Stephen Elman.

Nachamkin is a graduate of Penn State University and studied abroad at the Univetsidad de Salamanca in Salamanca, Spain. She is a marathon runner and a member of the Mercer Bucks Running Club, The New York Road Runners Club and the United States Track and Field Association. Nachamkin resides in Princeton with her husband Michael and two children.

Fran Delgolio has joined Albert B. Ashforth, Inc. Management Services as director of leasing for EastRidge Properties in White Plains.

Delgolio is responsible for leasing and marketing 1.6 million SF of Class A commercial office space at EastRidge Properties. As owner of FD Consultants. Ltd. in Croton-On-Hudson, Delgorio provided strategic planning, lease negotiations, portfolio analysis, and business plan development to her client base. From 1996 to 1999 she was a director of real estate operations for Prudential Insurance Company of America in Newark.

Delgorio, of Croton-on-Hudson, holds a B.S. in marketing from New York Institute of Technology and an M.S. from New York University's Real Estate Institute. She serves as a member of the board of directors for the Association of Real Estate Women and was a founding member of the Corporate Real Estate Council at New York University. Her other professional affiliations include the Urban Land Institute and the International Development Research Council.

The Lefrak Organization announced that Jamie Medowar Ebrenthal has joined the firm as financial vice president. Ehrenthal is responsible for financing the company's real estate portfolio, which entails obtaining mortgage loans from a variety of lending sources. She reports to the principals of the firm.

Prior to joining Lefrak, Ehrenthal was vice president and relationship manager at Fleet National Bank, where she managed a portfolio of mortgage loans for New York-based real estate owners in the bank's real estate finance group. She also served as a commercial mortgage broker with the Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group.

A graduate of Emory University, Ehrenthal earned her M.B.A. in finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. She resides in Manhattan with her husband.

Brian D. Fitzsimons has been promoted to director from associate director at Sutton & Edwards/TCN Worldwide. Fitzsimons joined the company in 1997 and has excelled in representing corporate and institutional real estate owners, users, investors, and developers in the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of commercial real estate. His clients have included GE Capital, The Roslyn Savings Bank, The American n Heart Association, JE Robert Companies, and The Esselte Corporation. Previously, he was a treasury bond trader on Wall Street.

Fitzsimons received his M.S. in real estate investment and asset management from New York University and obtained his B.A. for Syracuse University.

Kathleen Anne Hawley has joined The Schultz Organization as senior associate, specializing in retail leasing. She comes to the firm from Acadia Realty Trust, where she was a regional leasing representative. Throughout her more than 15 years in the commercial real estate industry, Hawley has been employed by the McDonalds's Corporation as an associate real estate representative, Fidelity Land Development as a leasing representative; and SKS Associates/Security Capital Corporation as a senior property manager.

Hawley resides in Easton, Penn. She received her B.A. from St. Cloud State University.

Goldschrnidt & Associates announced, the addition of. James Hough as its newest agent. Hough, a Scarsdale native and a graduate of Fordham University, comes to the firm with a background as a Fortune 500 insurance analyst and, more recently, vice president of Perla Realty, of White Plains.

Town and Country Developers, Inc. announced that Henry Marrocco has joined the company as senior vice president of acquisition. Marrocco was formerly employed with Coldwell Banker and has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate industry. For nearly a decade, Marrocco has specialized in new construction and land acquisition.

Richard J. Michaels has joined Colliers ABR, Inc. as a managing director, announced president Randall Johnston.

A real estate veteran with over 25 years of experience, Michaels has held senior positions for such real estate firms as Jones Lang Wootton USA and Sylvan Lawrence Company. Michaels, a former senior vice president at Trammell Crow Company, began his real estate career as an owner's representative of numerous downtown buildings including 100 William St. and 95/99 Wall St.

A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Michaels has been granted the graduate real estate institute designation from New York University. He is also a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.

CB Richard Ellis announced the appointment of Thomas Garden as senior vice president of the New York City offices.

He brings to CB Richard Ellis over 20 years of real estate experience in landlord representation, tenant representation and office and industrial development. In his new position, Garden will be responsible for consulting and brokerage services to corporate clients throughout the country. He was formerly managing director with Kennedy-Wilson Properties.

Garden earned a bachelor of arts degree from Dartmouth College and is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York. He currently resides in North Caldwell, N.J.

Insignia/ESG announced that Joyce Geiger has joined the company as managing director, national research services.

A 20-year research and consulting veteran, Geiger spearheads the continuing development and operation of the firm's national research capabilities. Working with a team of research professionals across the country, she will also be instrumental in the expansion and rollout of other core internal initiatives, including the company's client relationship management system. Before joining Insignia/ESG, Geiger was a principal with BSI Consulting Services.
