Insignia/ESG announced that Theodore P. Sasso, Jr., the firm's senior managing director, has been named to the Route 110 Redevelopment Corporation.

Sasso has been involved in both tenant and owner representation assignments during his more than 30 years in commercial real estate. Among client representation assignments include J.C. Penney, Nikon and State Insurance Fund.

She began her real estate career in 1984 with the Lerner Organization and, prior to joining Newmark of Long Island, was a real estate broker with Prudential Long Island Commercial Real Estate. Joining Newmark of Long Island as an associate, Ventre will be working closely with Hasioecher in the commercial leasing department. Ventre earned a degree in business management and is a licensed real estate salesperson.

Bringing more than 12 years of retail real estate experience, Raphan will serve as an associate director in the firm's retail division. During his career he has negotiated numerous retail leases and managed properties throughout Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk Counties. He began his real estate career in 1988, managing a portfolio of family-owned retail properties. In that capacity, he built relationships with banks, architects, contractors, and retail tenants.

The Schultz Organization/TCN Worldwide announced the appointment of Jon Horn of as an associate in the firm's brokerage services division. Horn specializes in the office sector. Frank Liantonio is an executive managing director at Cushman & Wakefield. Maureen Liantonio has been a member of the North Hempstead Unit for 15 years and has become active in the Garden City Unit of the American Cancer Society. She was a committee member of the Phantom Ball in 2000 and is its co-chairperson in 2001. Prior to this, she was president of the alumni executive council of St. Vincent Ferrer High School in Manhattan.

She worked for the parish of Trinity Church for 20 years as manager of parish financial services. She received a B.A. in psychology from Mercy College and an M.S. in special education from the College of New Rochelle. She was also a post graduate student at Pace University.
