Who's Bad?


I am disappointed to see the founding editor comment unfavorably on Justice Roberts's willingness to serve as attorney for "the bad guys" ("Tilting at Windmills," by Charles Peters, December 2005). It is obvious that with overzealous o·ver·zeal·ous  
adj.
Excessively enthusiastic: overzealous movie fans; an overzealous manager.

Toadies were a post-grunge band from Fort Worth, Texas. The band's final lineup consisted of Todd Lewis, Mark Reznicek, Lisa Umbarger, and Clark Vogeler.

We need to have the bad guys get a stout defense to prevent reckless unprepared DAs obtaining convictions that will be reversed. The current tendency to be overwhelmed by obviously arbitrary moral judgments such as Peters's on Roberts is misplaced mis·place

It can be used positively to effect change in the law (e.g.  against The Washington Monthly.
