Who's "Saabing" Now

A couple of weeks ago we whispered that Walt Bennett Ford no longer held the local Saab dealership and the closest dealers were now in Shreveport, Tulsa, or Memphis. (We've since been told Shreveport is no more, either.)

Anyway, we got a phone call from Bill Lessenberry of Bill's Import Service. He wanted us to know until Saab selects a new dealer here, he is the authorized service dealer in the state.

Lessenberry, who works by appointment, says he's backed up two or more weeks.

No word yet on who the replacement dealer might be.
