Whirlybirds in Korea. (Flightbag).


I read with interest your article "Whirlybirds Whirlybirds (sometimes mistakenly called "The Whirlybirds") was a U.S. television show that aired from 1957 to 1959 with a total of 111 episodes. The show was about Chuck Martin and P.T.  Over Korea" by Hill Goodspeed (Nov-Dec 02). In November 1951, as an Air Force captain flying an F-80, I ejected over Wonsan harbor. Don Whittaker and his crewman, Bill Moore, had me out of the water in minutes during foul weather. We landed on an LST LST left sacrotransverse (position of fetus).  and they stuck me in a hot shower. The next day I was transferred to Manchester (CL 83) for a checkup checkĀ·up
