Color: Each country is shown in one of four colors, depending on the percentage of its population that is under age 15. (See map key.)

Exact percentage: The exact percentage is also given for the top 10 most-populous countries, including the U.S.

Highest and lowest: The map gives the exact percentage for the country on each continent with the highest percentage (shown in red letters), and the country with the lowest percentage (in green letters).
