Egan and Roger Marino, EMC has developed advanced storage and retrieval technologies for the world's largest companies. recently told Forrester about its advances in remote diagnostics Vehicle Diagnostics Vehicle diagnostics enables a mechanic to diagnose the exact mechanical condition of the vehicle and its systems and components. Remote Diagnostics enables to perform such diagnosis without requiring the vehicle to physically be present for checkup. . It seems that Sears was reconfiguring its data center and accidentally dropped an EMC Symmetrix box through a hole in the floor. The good news: Every Symmetrix has remote diagnostics and phone-home capability built in--meaning the box in question was able to phone home to EMC headquarters to say, "I've fallen and I can't get up." |
