With the knowledge gained from the data more than three years ago, Superintendent Kathleen Williams compiled a team of school principals, administrators, social service agencies and community members. Innovative programs were then created to address identified needs, and community agencies and business partners were recruited to provide resources and expertise. The program serves the entire community, including senior citizens, individuals with special needs and adults who want to learn English. More than 800 children determined to be at risk of academic failure participate in TLC.
