The comprehensive kit fits easily into any size glove box glove box

and includes an easy-to-use Kodak 12-exposure flash camera, driver instructions, witness cards, report forms and pens to provide drivers with everything they need should an accident occur. The kits are available directly to consumers through PHH's toll free customer line (800) 210-8848 for $25.00.

"Incorrect or incomplete information has been a costly and timely obstacle to efficient accident claims processing," said Peggy Williams, product manager, PHH Vehicle Management Services. "The PHH Accident Reporting Kit helps reduce legal liability and financial exposure by ensuring that all information at the scene of an accident -- visual, physical and witnessed - is recorded properly." This is particularly important, Williams added, in accidents where police are not dispatched to the scene.

The PHH Accident Reporting Kit was originally developed for use by PHH's customers -- the 460,000 drivers whose employers are PHH's clients.

"Safety is one of the top concerns of our corporate clients who operate fleets of company vehicles," said Williams. "The Accident Reporting Kit now provides a level of protection to individual consumers that don't have the resources of a corporation behind them."

"The Accident Reporting Kit is a powerful tool for drivers, particularly those who have been hit by another vehicle," Williams added. "It also helps provide a sense of control in what is often an emotional situation."
