When enough is enough.

Within days of Don Imus's now-infamous rant, four Black female NYPD officers were called "nappy-headed hos" in two separate incidents. In the first, Sgt. Michael Cantatore, who is white, told Detective Aretha Williams, "Don't give me no lip before I call you a nappy-headed ho." In the second, three female officers were called "hos" by Sgt. Carlos Mateo, who is Latino. During roll call in a Brooklyn precinct, Sgt. Mateo said, "Stand up, hos," to which another officer, Ralph Montenez allegedly responded, "They're not just hos, they're nappy-headed hos." Sgt. Mateo has since been moved to another precinct and Sgt. Cantatore has retired.
