What equipment do you need in SWA?

If you're trying to figure out the equipment your unit needs to take to SWA, help is available on the Internet You can access BattleWeb with an AKO login and password: Battle Web, an unclassified tool, can show you what equipment may be available for your unit area of operation (AO). It can tell you what equipment you aren't to deploy (DND) without express permission, and what equipment you should deploy.

Battle Web is a logistics planning tool development by Army Sustainment Command in coordination with forces Command (FORSCOM).

* Import your property book data and compare it to theater-provided equipment and DND, and create a planned deployment equipment list (DEL)

* View equipment lists of other in-theater units

* Create a visibility reports and deployment checklists

* Access doctrine, policies, procedures and info specific to your AO

Deployment Training

FORSCOM provides deployment planning training using BattleWeb through fully-funded mobile training teams (MTTs). Training covers developing DEL, familiarization with current deployment guidance, and other pre-deployment planning assistance.
