I like Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters by John Steptoe. This story is about two beautiful girls named Manyara and Nyasha who lived with their father in a small village in Africa. Nyasha always planted in her garden, and she noticed a garden snake under a yam vine. She sang to the garden snake. One day, the king sent a messenger to the village to announce that he wanted to marry the kindest, prettiest girl in the kingdom. The two girls went to the city to meet the king. They had many adventures along the way. To find out which girl the king chooses and why the snake is important in the story, read the book.

My favorite book is The Wizard of Oz. In this book, a girl named Dorothy is in her house when it gets thrown into the air by a cyclone. Her house lands in a magical land called Oz. Will she be able to get home? You will have to read the book to find out.
P.S. This book is by L. Frank Baum.

My favorite book is Elmer Blunt's Open House by Matt Novak. It's about a man who overslept and then ran so fast out of the door for work that he forgot to close the door. Animals went inside the house. My favorite part is when a bear was jumping on the man's bed with a pajama bottom on his head.
