WEDDING EXCLUSIVE 1 WEST End star Aoife Mulholland Aoife Mulholland (born c. 1978)[1] [2]is an Irish actress, from Salthill, Galway. She was a finalist in the BBC TV show How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?  has just staged the most important production of her life - her wedding.

And the reality TV singer was certainly bowled over by her groom Jason Molins Jason Molins (born December 4, 1974) is an Irish cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman. Born in Dublin, he has played First-class cricket for Ireland since 1998 and received his Oxford Blue in 1998 scoring a half century in the Varsity match at Lords.  - he's the ex-captain of Ireland's cricket team.

Aoife, who came fourth in BBC's How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?, said: "I'm so happy to have married the man of my dreams, my soulmate soulmate ncompaƱero/a del alma  - so happy that I got very emotional walking down the aisle, and ruined my makeup...

This is the happiest I've ever been. Jason is my real leading man."

The couple wed in front of 60 friends and family at the Marbella Beach Club in southern Spain after choosing the venue when they ate there while on holiday two years ago. Guests included Abi Finley, Aoife's best friend who was also a contestant on How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?, and the golfer Christy O'Connor There have been two Irish golfers called Christy O'Connor:
  • Christy O'Connor Snr (born 1924)
  • Christy O'Connor Jnr, his nephew, (born 1948)
 Jr, a friend of Aoife's father John, an FG councillor and bookie back home in Galway.

Friends from her stage school sang Seasons Of Love and Abi sang Secret Love from Calamity Jane.

But Aoife, 31, who is now starring in Chicago in London's West End, revealed: "There's a sort of tradition that any man who marries a girl in my family has to sing 'Galway Girl'.

"Unfortunately Jason hasn't a note in his head, God love him, but he did very well and I was incredibly proud of him."

Dubliner Jason, 34, played first-class cricket from 1998 until 2007 and is Ireland's most successful captain ever but he has terrible trouble explaining the rules to Aoife.

She laughed: "That's an on-going battle for him!

"Now when he asks me if I understand cricket, I just nod - it saves so much time."

They met in a London bar in January 2008, only to find that, although he'd seen her on the BBC BBC
 in full British Broadcasting Corp.
