What Portfolios Cost.


The costs of using a performancebased assessment are examined in a new study by a Cornell University Cornell University, mainly at Ithaca, N.Y.; with land-grant, state, and private support; coeducational; chartered 1865, opened 1868. Perpupil costs ranged from $36.97 in a small-size" state, such as Vermont Vermont (vərmŏnt`) [Fr.,=green mountain], New England state of the NE United States. It is bordered by New Hampshire, across the Connecticut R. , to $29.26 for a state the size of Texas.

The cost estimates are compared to projections from an early federal government survey, Monk said.
