What Men like

Often times its women that overlook what men like when it comes to dating. Women don''t often take the time to understand what men would really want to do on a date. And more often than not, I think the answer would be surprising to them. Not all men like sports and beer. And not all women like shopping. If we all sat down and really asked our potential date what it is they would really like to do, we just might find out who would be a perfect match and maybe even find a new hobby.

For you ladies out there, who think you know what men like, think again. It has been brought to my attention that what men like extends beyond boobs and sports. As it turns out there are many other activities that men like, which extend beyond the bedroom and sports arena. Now that this myth has been debunked, how do we go about finding exactly what men like? This is simple; just listen to what men you aren''t trying to date talk about doing.

If you''ve mustered up enough courage to ask out that guy you''ve been eyeing at the gym, it is up to you to decide what you''ll do on your date. It would make sense to take a man you met at the gym to a sporting event, but also terribly predictable. We know what men like, and one of the most popular topics of non-sexual conversation among men is cars. They love exotic cars and sports cars, so if you''re looking to score points on this date try taking your guy to a local car expo. If the car names are Ferrari or Porsche you can be certain that you know exactly what men like!

If you aren''t exactly sure what men like when it comes to women, know this; men like women who EAT! I don''t mean you can chomp down a 12 ounce steak, but moving rabbit food around your plate is what men definitely dislike. If you want to know what men like, start by being yourself and eating enough food for a normal sized human being. Knowing that you aren''t some self-obsessed dieter fretting over every calorie is something all men like.

A few things men definitely don''t like include:

o Talking about old relationships (yours or theirs).
o Paying for a large meal you didn''t eat
o Talking about having kids and marriage on the first date
o Asking them what men like

If you are too shy to ask men exactly what it is they like, then there are several ways around this. If you work in an office environment, finding out what men like can be a piece of cake. Talk to the men in your office and find out what kind of things they do (that you''d be up for doing) in their spare time. Compile this list and have a brief conversation with your guy a few days before the date to get an idea of an appropriate date activity.
