"The major drawback to building a web store is its location among thousands of other web stores. Brick and mortar See bricks and mortar.  stores spend a great deal of time and money analyzing location when building a new store, yet on the Internet, until now, there was no way to stand out and above the other web stores without spending a lot of extra dollars on advertising location, dollars that eat heavily into profits," states Mark Alan Zraik, President of Site View Technologies. "Until now, E-tailing was dependent on the web, its expense and its limitations, including the limitations of the browser. We've stepped outside the confining browser box See Internet appliance. , delivering e-commerce directly to the desktop of consumers."

With the Site Viewer Robust program, e-commerce stores don't even need a web site, they just need a server that can process orders. The application self-installs and places the store's icon and electronic catalog on consumer's desktops. With one click, consumers open the catalog and update the store's inventory database complete with images. Consumers browse the store's offerings while on or off-line, select their purchases, and when clicking the Check Out button, are taken to the store's secured check out area and the deal is done. A real plus to the program is its creative marketing versatility. The application, complete with a store's database and images, can be burned onto CD-ROM CD-ROM: see compact disc.

"Internet advertising and development companies are not going to like us very much," states Zraik. They can go back to marketing their store and its products instead of their-store-location-on-the-Internet."
