Weyerhaeuser's Cascade Tree Farms Open for Recreational Use.

:WY) announced today that its Snoqualmie and White River Forest Areas will be open March 2 for recreational use.

The areas will remain open until December 08, 2002, depending on weather conditions and risk of forest fire.

Such forests exist in the tropics primarily as broadleaf evergreens, and in temperate and boreal latitudes primarily as coniferous evergreens.  Trust.  access to the two areas requires a Cascade A connected series of devices or images. It often implies that the second and subsequent device takes over after the previous one is used up. For example, cascading tapes in a dual-tape backup system means the second tape is written after the first one is full.  Recreation Access Permit valid at both areas from March 2 through December 8. The permits are available for $65 plus a vendor's fee, with one permit required for each vehicle entering the property. Maps for each of the areas are sold separately by permit vendors. An access permit is not required for non-motorized uses such as bicycle-riding, horseback riding horseback riding: see equestrianism. , and walking.

People visit to go fishing, ride horses, hunt, hike, ride mountain bikes, train their dogs and enjoy the outdoors," said Steve Ketz, Weyerhaeuser's Land Use Manager for the Cascade Area. At White River, permit holders can check-in at the Grass Mountain gate, located approximately 4 miles east of Enumclaw on Highway 410.

At Snoqualmie, permit holders can check-in at the Spur 10 gate, located approximately 5 miles north of North Bend North Bend is the name of several places in the United States of America:

Near its mouth is Norfolk Dam (completed 1944), which impounds Norfolk Lake and has a power plant.  County Rd. In addition, the Griffin Creek Gate located northeast of Fall City off State Route 203 will be open on a limited basis during hunting season.

Access hours change throughout the recreation season. Permit holders can get up-to-date information by calling the Recreation Hotline at 800/433-3911. The Hotline has current information on access hours, vendors where permits and maps can be purchased and any special restrictions such as closures during fire season.
