Westminster honored for Best Brochure and Sales Office.

Westminster Communities, a diversified homebuilder in the Northeast, was honored with two prestigious Fabulous Achievements in Marketing Excellence Awards by the New Jersey Shore Builders Association.

The awards, for Best Sales Office and Best Brochure, were received for Westminster Communities' Wesley Grove at Asbury Park, a new luxury community now emerging in this historic city by the sea.

"We are very pleased to receive this recognition from our peers," said Sam Gershwin, president of Westminster Communities. "The awards ceremony was attended by some of the best builders and leaders of the industry. To be honored by these outstanding professionals is truly a great privilege."

The Sales and Design Center for Wesley Grove is located on Cookman Avenue, in the heart of the city's downtown, just steps away from the site where the new mixed-use community is now taking shape. From the ocean-blue decor to the textured white waves of the entranceway, the Center envelops visitors in the sights and sounds of this seaside resort and includes a video presentation highlighting the re-emergence of Asbury Park as the Jewel of the Jersey Shore and the vision that is Wesley Grove. It also provides a more hands-on experience of the luxury in store for future residents, with a scale model of the first building now under construction, the St. James, which features 30 townhomes and 61 luxury condominium flats and duplexes. For the convenience of visiting families, the Sales Center even includes a cafe.

When completed, Wesley Grove at Asbury Park--which is part of the larger Oceanfront Asbury redevelopment--will consist of 750 homes and 35,000 s/f of retail space. Construction of the St. James is progressing well and the project is more than 40% sold out. The company has also received planning approval for 55 additional units in the project's Phase I and is currently working on the approvals for Phase II of Wesley Grove, which will feature 300 residential units and a spectacular state-of-the-art health club facility.

The FAME awards gala, themed "A Night with the Stars," was held at the Grand Marquis in Old Bridge. It was the third annual awards ceremony hosted by the organization, which represents individuals in every facet of the building industry. The awards presented to Westminster Communities were for marketing a community within the $400,000 to $650,000 sales-price range.

This is not the first time that a Westminster sales office has received awards. Last year, the Sales and Design Center at Westminster's Landings at Harbor Side community in Perth Amboy won both the Award of Excellence from the Community Builders Association of New Jersey and the coveted Sales & Marketing award from the New Jersey Builders Association.
