Westin Kids Club Expanded Resort Programs

In addition to the standard Westin Kids Club features, many Westin resorts offer planned activities and programs that introduce children to the cultural and ecological characteristics of each individual destination. Most Westin resorts also provide a supervised on-property activity center for children to enjoy as well.

Heavenly Crib

In August 2001, Starwood Hotels & Resorts announced that its three largest hotel brands, including Westin, would immediately start replacing their existing cribs Cribs may mean:
  • The Cribs, a band from the United Kingdom
  • MTV Cribs, a reality television program on MTV
  • Crib can refer to an assumed section of text in a coded message that assists a code-breaker (also referred to as "known-plaintext attack)".
with brand new custom-designed cribs, developed to be one of the safest and most stylish and comfortable in the hotel industry. Developed to be the offspring of Westin's successful all-white Heavenly Bed which debuted in 1999, the Heavenly Crib consists of a four-inch thick, natural baby firm mattress (nearly double the thickness of typical foam mattresses found in most hotels); a white wood finish; a durable insulator insulator

First Family Plan

Westin was the first hotel chain to offer a family plan that allowed children under 18 to stay free when occupying the same room with a parent or guardian. If more than one room is required to accommodate a family, the single guest room rate applies to each additional room occupied by the family, regardless of the number of persons occupying the rooms.
