Western Micro Technology appoints Von Gehr International financial adviser, plans acquisitions.

The acquisitions will catapult catapult (kăt`əpŭlt'), mechanism used to throw missiles in ancient and medieval warfare. At first, catapults were specifically designed to shoot spears or other missiles at a low trajectory (see bow and arrow).  Western Micro's growth, enabling the company to invest more money in its infrastructure, and to initiate its plan to become the dominant mid-range solution implementor. In addition, the acquisitions will move Western Micro closer to its customers by expanding the company's presence in major metropolitan areas.
