Western Michigan Chapter presents first scholarships.

TEI's Western Michigan Chapter recently presented two $1,000 scholarships to two deserving students enrolled in the Masters of Accountancy and Tax Programs at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan “Grand Rapids” redirects here. For other uses, see Grand Rapids (disambiguation).

The Western Michigan Chapter created its scholarship program earlier in the year to reward deserving students in Western Michigan who manifest an interest in the field of taxation. To qualify for this scholarship, the student(s) must have completed at least 18 credit hours maintain a "B" average while pursuing a course of study that could lead to a career in taxation. The scholarship funds can only be used to offset the costs of tax related classes and must be used within one year of the award date.

The Chapter is very proud to offer these scholarships and is looking forward to continuing this program in the future.
