Westchester deals show a rebound.


Eric S. Goldschmidt, partner of Goldschmidt & Associates, announced that the company has brokered 13 major retail transactions in the past few months totaling 115,362 s/f, with aggregate rent values of $23 million.

Mr. Goldschmidt co-brokered two major deals with CBRE CBRE CB Richard Ellis (real-estate firm)

, Jr. for Bloomingdale's Furniture on Route 9A in Hawthorne, N.Y. and a 22,100 s/f lease with Tom Weinstock for Best Friends Pet Care at One Brockway Place in White Plains, N.Y. Goldschmidt also brokered a 5,100 s/f lease at 105 Fairview Park Fairview Park, city (1990 pop. 18,028), Cuyahoga co., NE Ohio; inc. 1950. It is a residential suburb of Cleveland.  Drive for a wine making school.

Pam Bren Goldschmidt brokered a lease for a 3,800 s/f space at 72 Purchase St. in Rye, N.Y. for Webster Bank Webster Bank is a bank based based out of Waterbury, Connecticut. It is the largest Connecticut based bank and the 42nd largest in the United States. History
Webster was founded in 1935 by Harold Webster Smith.

Mrs. Goldschmidt also brokered a 1,200 s/f deal at 35 Popham Road in Scarsdale, N.Y. for Bambini, an upscale children's clothing store, and a 2,700 s/f deal for LF, a woman's clothing Noun 1. woman's clothing - clothing that is designed for women to wear

Ms. Wagner co-brokered three other transactions--a 3,150 s/ f lease for Aqua Spa at 2444 Boston Post Road in Larchmont; a 2,000 s/ f lease for Blue Sky I at 670 Boston Post Road in Orange, Conn.; and a 3,000 s/f lease at 92 S. Central Ave. in Hartsdale for Today's Kitchen.

Stuart Kolbert brokered a 5,000 s/f lease at 7-11 Norm Ave. in Mr. Kisco for Little Gym. Mr. Kolbert had also brokered a Little Gym deal at the Eastchester Mall. JoAnn Picarillo brokered the 1,360 SF s/ f deal at 44 East Parkway in Scarsdale for Tresses, a high-end hair product store and a 1,080 s/f lease at 45 Spencer Place for Sticks and Strings, a knitting store.

"The retail market has definitely improved in the past six months. Westchester county continues to be a magnet for retailers wanting to be a part of this active community. The demand is definitely up with a limited supply of quality retail space and our staff is doing its best to make things happen," Mr. Goldschmidt said.
