Westaff Appoints Its First Vice-President, Franchising.

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- Underscoring its commitment to growth, leading global provider of staffing services Westaff, Inc., (NASDAQ:WSTF) named David W. Mount its first vice-president, franchising today. In this new position, 17-year Westaff veteran Mount will be responsible for driving the growth and development of Westaff's domestic and international franchise network. During the most recent fiscal year, 58 U.S. Westaff offices were franchised and accounted for 27.5 percent of corporate revenue.

He served as the group's president from 1998-2004 and was integral in establishing a proactive relationship between the company and the owners of its franchises. Mount will draw on that experience as he begins the first phase of the company's franchise growth plan, spearheading Westaff's expanded presence in the South and Great Lakes regions of the United States.
