West Virginia schoolgirl saves grandmother.


Danyelle Kinser, a first-grade student at Lashmeet-Matoaka School in Mercer County, West Virginia Mercer County is a county located in the U.S. state of West Virginia. As of 2000, the population was 62,980. It is part of the Bluefield WV-VA micropolitan area which has a population of 107,578. , was riding with her grandmother to her school bus stop on the morning of March 3. Suddenly, her grandmother, Mildred Vickers, lost control of her Chevy Blazer, and the vehicle skidded off the mountain road and rolled over seven or eight times, tumbling down a hill before coming to rest on an old strip-mine site.
